A sex columnist and a almost virgin recently diagnosed with cancer head out on a cross-country trip of self discovery. This isn't your everyday rom-com. This film injects a huge bite of reality where comedy and romance should go. Brittany Snow and Sam Richardson star and save this movie which is about 20 minutes too long. Comedy and romance takes the back seat to profanities and sex, which is where this film loses it steam and enjoyability. The story left its own characters to not take cancer serious, where in areas of the film the seriousness of the subject matter overwhelmed the subpar writing and plot.
The elongated body count of Snow's character, the list of insecurities of Richardsons character, and the terrible directing of Nico Raineau defeats this rated R showing before the 1st quarter of viewing. All choices made in filming and editing are understandable, but not executed well.
