The Babysitter: Killer Queen

Judah Lewis, Hana Mae Lee, Robbie Amell, Bella Thorne, Andrew Bachelor, Emily Alyn Lind, Leslie Bibb and Ken Marino all eprise their roles from The Babysitter in this sequel made for the adolescent suburban caucasian teens. The film even has its own token funny black comic in Andrew Bachelor as John. The cast seems plucked from a 2000's Abercrombie ad with the stiff acting to match. The only positives of this movie is the addition of Jenna Ortega, the many different ways thought up to kill its characters, and the end credit crawl.

Directed and written by Joseph McGinty Nichol of Charlie's Angels (2000),  Terminator Salvation (2009), and The Babysitter (2017). This sequel not only falls short like his other entries, but loses the campiness of The Babysitter and replaces it with utter lazy nonsensical ridiculousness. I could only credit privilege as a reason he could keep landing directing gigs, but it seems he produced this catastrophe as well.

I rated this movie: Not Entertaining with 2/5 movie tickets
