Merry Liddle Christmas Wedding

Merry Liddle Christmas Wedding is the direct sequel to last years Merry Liddle Christmas film. Merry Liddle Christmas Wedding begins with Jacquie Liddle (Kelly Rowland), as she and fiancé Tyler (Thomas Cadrot) try to plan their perfect destination Christmas wedding. Jacquie’s plans go awry when her loud and opinionated family intervenes in her plans as her boujie wedding planner quits in an angry rage. The mishaps and inevitable predictable conflicts are very cheesy in their perfect placing throughout the film, but fits with its holiday aesthetic. Both family wedding parties get a Christmas wedding more memorable than they ever could have imagined.

This movie is fun and light hearted. There are no twists or turns here. Kelly Rowland does a great job acting in LifeTime movies. Even in hiding a baby bump during this production, you can tell the set was stress free and happy with the cast here. This straight forward family film was good, but not great. This is a acceptable sequel that could be the beginning of a string of LifeTime movies for Rowland.

I rated this film: Entertaining with 3.5/5 TV remotes.
